Your Brain Is Waiting for You to Show Up
A Love Your Brain message for the year ahead
There’s a moment in life when the noise gets quiet… and you suddenly hear something you’ve been ignoring.
A whisper.
A nudge.
A knowing.
And if you listen closely, it’s your brain speaking.
Not the overworked, overwhelmed, overstimulated version you’ve been pushing through your days with.
Not the version running on autopilot.
Not the one surviving—barely.
No.
The voice you’re hearing is the version of your brain that remembers who you can be!
Who you want to be!
Who you were designed to be!
It’s the part of you that’s been quietly waiting for you to finally…
show up.
You see, we move through life assuming our brain will always keep up.
We forget that:
• Our brain stores where we put our keys without us asking.
• Keeps us balanced while we walk.
• Filters noise so we don’t lose our minds.
• Reads faces and makes decisions before we’re even aware.
• Determines whether something is safe—or if we should panic.
Your brain does hundreds of things automatically… while you’re scrolling, worrying, rushing, or putting yourself last. But here’s the truth nobody taught us:
You cannot live the life you want with a brain you’re neglecting.
Not the future you’re believing for!
Not the purpose you feel rising!
Not the energy, clarity, peace, or confidence you keep praying for!
Your brain is the control centre of everything you want to experience in the remaining days of December 2025 and next year!
And you only get one.
You see, i think we live under an illusion!
We think our brain will stay strong while we run on empty.
But a tired brain doesn’t create clarity, it creates chaos.
A stressed brain doesn’t produce meaning, it produces survival.
An overwhelmed brain doesn’t build purpose, it shuts it down.
And yet…
Most people treat their brain like an afterthought...until something goes wrong, like it did for me.
But imagine....i mean really really imagine what would happen if this new year, 2026 you decided to flip the script.
Imagine if you treated your brain like the most expensive thing you own...
Because it is.
You insure your car.
You maintain your home.
You protect your phone with a case.
But your brain?
Your brain is left unguarded… while carrying the weight of your entire life!
If you were to finally show up for your brain...what would that look like?
All it takes are small shifts, simple ones that create powerful transformation! Take a look at the really simple and realistic changes that you could introduce today:
7 Small Shifts to Start Showing Up
1. A 10-minute daily walk = Improves memory, mood, creativity, and energy.
2. Drink more water BEFORE caffeine = Your brain is 75% water. It fires faster, thinks clearer, and regulates emotions more efficiently when you're hydrated.
3. Reducing screen time before bed = Your brain needs darkness to reset your hormones and restore your thinking capacity.
4. Feeding your brain better foods = Avocado, eggs, nuts, berries—these are fuel for focus, mood, and emotional stability.
5. Practising stillness = Silence isn’t empty. It gives your brain room to repair.
6. Replacing negative self-talk with curiosity = Your brain rewires based on your words.
Every thought is a seed.
7. Choosing rest without guilt = Your brain doesn’t reward exhaustion.
It rewards balance.
2026 and Beyond
As we enter the new year, here is the truth I really want you to hear:
Your brain is not your enemy.
It’s your ally.
Your partner.
Your protector.
Your storyteller.
Your navigator through every decision, relationship, and opportunity you will touch in 2026...and beyond!
But it can’t do its job at full power…if you keep showing up for everything except your full self.
The new year is not calling you to hustle harder.
It’s calling you to think better.
Live clearer.
Feel safer.
Show up stronger.
And that begins with one choice:
Love your brain.
Every day.
On purpose.
Because your brain has been waiting for you.
And this new year 2026 is your year to finally show up!
